Cancellation Policy

To ensure CMWTS can provide timely services to all clients, we require a minimum of 48 hours’ notice if you are unable to attend a scheduled appointment. Appointments cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice, or missed without notice, will incur a cancellation fee equal to the full scheduled appointment fee. This fee must be paid within seven (7) days of the invoice date and prior to the commencement of any future appointments at CMWTS.

Providing notice of cancellation allows us to offer the appointment time to another client who may be waiting for services. Please note that cancellation fees are generally not claimable through Mental Health Care Plans, Medicare rebates, private health insurance, Workers’ Compensation, Employee Assistance Programs (EAP), insurance claims, or other third-party funding arrangements. If you are accessing services through an EAP, Workers’ Compensation insurer, NDIS funding arrangement, or other third-party payer, a late cancellation or non-attendance may still be charged to you and/or counted as one of your allocated sessions where permitted under the relevant funding arrangement
